A year of volunteering: an important choice that can change your life, certainly in contrast with the current cultural model that puts profit first.

A choice that, however, six guys were not afraid to do: Caterina, Daniele, Maria, Mario, Roberto and Rossella on the 20th of these months will begin their journey of Civil Service with the training week proposed by Focsiv in Turin. Wednesday, February 27th will be back to Piacenza, where they will spend a few days at our office in via Martelli for specific training. On Saturday, March 2, there will be the long-awaited departure, which will certainly not be free of emotions for the young, who are preparing to stay away from home for a whole year. Waiting for them in Uganda will be local collaborators, expats, representatives of our association and the various projects, to which the young people, supported by the Project leaders, will collaborate. It will be a human and professional experience at the same time: it is not by chance that the volunteers are asked "what will they bring in the backpack", what hopes, what desires, what fears.
